The majority of our students are referred through the Floral Industry. We suggest you ask the Floral Industry whom they would recommend for training. Classes are held in Melbourne, Victoria and Launceston as well as Hobart, Tasmania. The college offeres workplace based training across Victoria and workplace based training fused with Block attendence in Tasmania as a training option. |

Certificate II in Floristry
| |
Certificate II in Floristry is offered as a traineeship through employment or it can be studied outside traineeship. It is an introduction to floristry. This course focuses on retailing skills, flower care and basic floristry skills. It is an introduction to floristry. If you attend one day per week the course will take eighteen months to complete. It is possible to attend two days per week. Class is offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Evening classes are also offered on Monday. Evening classes are from 6.00pm. to 10.00pm. Day classes are from 9am to 4.30pm. The total amount of hours allocated to the certificate is 557 hours. The College follows school terms. There are four terms to a year. Flowers are supplied and remain at completion of class.
This course has the option to be studied by 12 one weekly blocks accross the training or alternatively you can study in the workplace as a workplace based trainee.
Students are required to supply their own wire, parafilm, cutters, hand towel and notebook. A list will be supplied to all applicants.
