The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is a nationally accredited qualification and is recognised internationally allowing you to work and travel. On completion of the Diploma you are a fully qualified beauty therapist. The Diploma of Beauty therapy provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to perform beauty therapy treatments to a high standard. This course will be completed in one year studying at least two days per week. Classes are offered day and evening. Day classes are from 9am to 4.30pm. Weekend classes are available.

Employment as a beauty therapist:

Through the Diploma of Beauty Therapy you will learn the necessary skills to gain employment in a clinic or day spa. Such skills include facial treatments, massage and body treatments, waxing, manicure and pedicure treatments, as well as the ability to supervise workplace environments.

How to study:

The Diploma of Beauty Therapy has both practical and theoretical components. Practical work will be completed in class time and theory work completed out of class. The learners’ resource booklets contain the full amount of information needed to guide you through the activities in the Assessment Record Logbook. The total number of hours for the Diploma of Beauty Therapy is over 1500.

Courses Start Dates:  
This course will be completed in one year studying at least two days per week. The training is competency-based. Intakes occur January/February, July and October each year. The College follows school terms with four terms to a year.

Classes Offered:
Classes are offered weekdays and weekends. Day classes are from 9am to 4.30pm. Weekend classes are Friday evenings 6.30-9.30pm, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4.30 every alternate weekend. Beauty Therapy training is completed at the MMC Canterbury Road Campus.

Full Fee Paying: $15,255 (Payment Plans Available)
“Skills for Victoria” Government Funding Available from $1254
Plus $500 for a student kit. (Eligibility Criteria Apply) This Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
