Statement of Fees 2013

The student tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.

Skills for Victoria: This Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. RPL and CT will change the figures

Please note to enrol in the Wedding Course a student must have prior knowlege or completed Certificate III in Floristry. The Wedding Course is 2.5 hours in duration each week.

Administration Fee of $399 per year. (Please note this inlcudes all resouces, postage, most sundries, photocoping, stationery)

Accredited Floristry Courses
The College has a process in place to recognise credit transfers of prior studies as well as recognition of prior learning (RPL) Please direct inquiries through our email (info@marjoriemilner.edu.au).

Competency Based Learning (Floristry Package SFL20110, SFL30110, SFL40110, SFL50110, WRF20104, WRF30104, WRF40104)
In line with the regulations of Skills Victoria and Skills Tasmania the Floristry Training Package must be delivered with continual enrollments so that a student will progress through the training at their own pace. Lock step training, where all students study at the same pace is not applicable under the delivery of the package guidelines. Therefore there are ongoing enrollments through out the year. Students can commence at any time during the school terms. Please find the term dates on the Sign Up & Start Today Enrollments page.

Full Time Studies
Students can attend class more than one day per week. This will shorten the duration time of the studies. You can select the days that suit your schedule. There is flexibility is changing days when needed.

Accredited Class Timetable
Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each term between 9:00am. to 4:30pm. Classes are also held Monday evening from 6:00pm. to 10:00pm.

Victoria Accredited Block classes
Eight, one weekly blocks are held Monday to Friday spaced throughout the year. This accomodates city and country students that are unable to attend class on a weekly basis.

Tasmanian Accredited Block classes
Two, one weekly blocks are held in Tasmania each year. One in Launceston and one in Hobart. Training between blocks is conducted through the work place. Tasmanian students are required to attend both blocks. Fee structure is less for Tasmanian due to the attendance criteria. Please contact the College for more information.

Workplace Based Training
The College Assessors will visit workplaces a minimum of four times per year when a student is solely training in the workplace without direct class contact. The college visits workplaces accross the state most Fridays.

MMC has a fees and refund policy that can be viewed at the College. A detailed refund policy will be provided prior to commencement. MMC fosters flexible assessment as well as flexible delivery.
