Marjorie Milner College offers the following Short Courses for 2010:
1. INTRODUCTION TO FLORISTRY
This course will be offered Monday evening or Thursday day class. This class offers an introduction to practical work in floristry. Bow making, wiring, corsages, posies and table centers. Cost is $415.00 for eight weeks. Flowers and sundries not supplied.
2. GENERAL FLORISTRY
This course will be offered Monday evening or Thursday day class. This class offers hand held bouquets, wired items, elongated table centers, bowl and box arrangements. Cost is $415.00 for eight weeks. Flowers and sundries not supplied. 
3. FLOWERS FOR WEDDINGS
This course will be offered Monday evening 7pm to 9.30pm or Thursday day class 10am. to 12.30pm. This is an introduction to wedding work and will cover wiring skills, posy construction, trailer, bouquet holders and bouquet finish. Cost is $525.00 for eight weeks, 2.5 hours per lesson. 4. CONTEMPORARY AND MODERN DESIGN
This course will be offered Thursday morning (10am to 12 pm) or Monday evening class. If bold, modern designs appeal this is the class for you. Items to be made in this course are: *Natural designs incorporating mosses, bark, lichen, and unusual horticultural materials. *Contemporary designs utilise bright, bold strong blooms with exotic tropical foliages. Cost is $415.00 for eight weeks. Courses have on-going Enrolment so apply any time. Flowers and sundries not supplied.
All flowers and sundries are not supplied. Payment is to be paid in full before the commencement of the course. Please tick your preference. The programs offered are all delivered to commercial standards. At the completion of these courses you might wish to pursue further floristry studies.
The content of the short courses has been designed to enable you to enter into accredited programs. If this interests you please ask for further information. If you have a group of more than six we can customise a program to meet your needs. The College follows normal school terms and there are four terms each year. Therefore you can commence short courses at the beginning of each term throughout the year.
Students are required to supply their own wire, parafilm, cutters, hand towel and notebook. A flower list will be supplied to all applicants.
