The 'Secure Jobs for Your Future - Skills For VIC' program provides you an opportunity to access a Diploma or Advanced Diploma level qualification for as little as $250 through MMC. Eligibility criteria applies, however if you hold a lower level qualification, then you may have the opportunity to access one of these funded places.
WHAT IS A DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY?
The Diploma Beauty Therapy has been designed to give you the full range of practical and theoretical knowledge needed to provide specialised beauty treatments.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL YOU RECEIVE AT THE COMPLETION OF THE CERTIFICATE?
The Diploma in Beauty Therapy gives you the qualifications to practice as a Beauty Therapist and run or manage a salon or spa.
The Diploma in Beauty Therapy is delivered in affiliation with the Natural Skincare College.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH A DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY?
A person qualified with a Certificate III in Beauty Therapy is able to be employed as a beauty practitioner in a salon or spa, ensuring a safe working environment, providing treatments, including lash and brow treatment and temporary epilation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING THROUGHOUT THE COURSE?
Throughout the Diploma in Beauty Therapy you will complete 32 units of work. These units include face-to-face work and homework. The assessment of each unit is done via a learner’s assessment book and practical assessments throughout classes.

Competency Based Learning is a style of learning that the Natural Skincare College in conjunction with Marjorie Milner College encourages students to follow. It encourages students to be the very best that they can be in their chosen career.

HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE?
In order to complete a Diploma in Beauty Therapy attendance is required two days a week for one year (40 weeks). During these classes you will be involved in theory and practical work, including treatment of clients that make appointments at the College’s Clinic. You will also be required to complete the theory units in your own time.
ACCREDITATION
Natural Skincare College in conjunction with Marjorie Milner College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which means that your Diploma is Nationally recognised and accredited by the Government.
COST
The cost to complete the Diploma in Beauty Therapy is $13,850.00, compulsory student uniform and a compulsory student kit of $500.00.
