Corneotherapy, Beauty, Enrol Now 2018
Beverly Greenwood (Bev) teaches the Diploma of Beauty Therapy here at Marjorie Milner College and has done so for the past 10 years. As a proactive and conscientious teacher who is committed to her students, she spends a portion of her holiday period ensuring that Marjorie Milner College is prepared for the upcoming year of delivering superior and evolutionary training.
One of the most important aspects of providing such quality training is to ensure that the college’s resources are detailed and in touch with industry needs and trends. As such Bev has taken the time to update our resources with new and relevant information pertinent to all elements of the Beauty Therapy industry. In addition to ensuring the content is relevant and engaging she maintains an approach in line with the college’s objective of training professional and workplace ready individuals, who will establish and continue to make positive contributions within the beauty industry.
In addition to her personal research, study and investigation, Bev remains engaged with industry through her connections and relationships with past students. Drawing on their knowledge and experiences within the field, Bev invites their contributions to again ensure that the college is passing on important insights that will enhance the next generation of qualified Beauty Therapist. This proactive approach also means that the resources are a combination of balanced components based on information, compliance, industry standards and are equally an enjoyable and fun accompaniment for students during their journey towards becoming qualified Beauty Therapist.
Bev works tirelessly to remain in touch with new and innovative changes within the industry. Through her attendance at the Aesthetics Practitioners Advisory Network (APAN) conference held in Melbourne in August of 2017 which covered a variety of subjects such as business strategies, important information on Beauty Therapy liability insurance as well as the most up to date information related to Beauty Therapy trends and the application of skin analysis techniques, she has been able to improve and evolve the student resources to include these ground breaking protocols and treatment strategies.
During January 2018 Bev attended the 5th International Symposium on Corneotherapy in Auckland, New Zealand.
