After finishing the Certificate III in Hairdressing qualification, you will be a fully qualified hairdresser with a range of well-developed skills.
Live clients
Marjorie Milner College recommends that as part of your course, you invite your family and friends to practice on. A small fee will be charged to cover the cost of products and services. If you can’t find models, MMC will attempt to source clients for practical sessions.
Once you have completed Certificate III in Hairdressing you can start working in a Melbourne Salon. You may choose to travel around Australia and work in a series of different hairdressing salons. The hairdressing qualification is recognised Australia wide. You may also move into different areas of hairdressing including working with product companies, colour companies, cruise-liners or utilise your hairdressing skills overseas.
